A key fob is a mobile device used to quickly arm and disarm the security system. The following
operations are used to manage key fobs.
Perform the operations in this section to manage key fobs:
Add
Change the name of a key fob as shown in reports on the TouchScreen and in the Subscriber
Portal (page 132)
Reset to default (page 134)
Delete (page 134)
These operations are performed from the Installer Settings menu (see Technician Operations on page
80).
To add a key fob to the security system:
1. From the Installer Settings menu, tap Home Devices > Key Fobs > Add Key Fob.
The Locating Key Fobs screen is displayed.

2. Tap Next to begin searching for key fobs to add.
A Stop button is displayed on the Locating Key Fobs screen. The TouchScreen searches for key
fobs that are available to be added (defaulted and in Search mode).
