2. Step
 Slide the license plate down
until it stops.
3. Step
 Insert the locks from above
into the holder.
(You carefully broke them out of the
holder in the first step.)
 Set the camera at an angle where you have a good
view to the rear, depending on the height of the license plate holder
from the ground.
The displayed lines on the Smartphone give you an indication of the
distance.
Definitely control the distance with a folding ruler.

 Then tighten the screws on both sides of the camera.
