Like a standard mobile phone, you can use your Pocket PC Phone to make, receive,
and keep track of calls and send SMS/MMS messages. You can also take notes
while talking, dial directly from Contacts, and easily copy SIM contacts to Contacts
which is on the device.
The Phone screen
From the Phone screen, you can access Call History, Speed Dial, and Phone
settings. To enter the Phone screen, do one of the following actions:
. Use the stylus and tap Start > Phone.
Press the TALK button (

. Directly dial the phone number by pressing numeric keys on the
QWERTY keyboard.

Enter your PIN
Most SIM cards are preset with a PIN (personal identification number) code that is
provided by your wireless service provider. You need to input the PIN whenever you use
your device.
1. Input the preset PIN assigned by your wireless service provider.
2. Tap Enter.
Note If your PIN is input incorrectly three times, the SIM card will be blocked. If this
happens, you have to unblock it with the PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) obtained from
your wireless service provider.
Turn on and off flight mode
In many countries it is required to turn off phone on-board an aircraft by law. Flight mode
should be activated in order to turn off the phone.
To keep device on and use other functions, flight mode can be activated.
Tap the Signal icon ( ), and select Turn on ight mode to turn off the
phone.
To resume call function, make ight mode unavailable by tapping Turn off ight
mode.
