• Options and settings, which help you, create a custom Pocket MSN experience. For example, you can block strangers or people whom you don’t want to see you online
or send you messages.
☺ Before you can use Pocket MSN Messenger, your phone must be connected to Internet.
See Connecting to the internet in Chap. 6 for instructions on setting up your Internet connection.
You need a Microsoft.NET Passport or Hotmail account to use MSN Messenger.
• To obtain a Passport, go to http://www.passport.com
• To create a Hotmail account, go to http://www.hotmail.com
After obtaining a passport, complete the following tasks:
1 Set up a connection on your mobile device, such as a modem or wireless connection, that enables you to connect to the Internet (See Chap.6 Getting connected).
2 Set up an account in MSN Messenger
3 Sign in to MSN Messenger.

• On the Today screen, tap > Pocket MSN
• Enter MSN Messenger
