COCKING & LOADING YOUR AIR RIFLE
1. Grasp your rie behind the triggerguard. With one hand,
unlatch the cocking lever by pulling down on the under-
lever. Firmly pull down the lever all the way until the lever
stops (Fig. 1).
2. The sliding compression chamber has now exposed the
breech. Load a pellet with the head pointing toward the
muzzle. Press the pellet so it's ush with the breech. Hold
the underlever while loading.
3. To return the cocking lever to its starting position, pull
the underlever release button (Fig. 2) toward the back.
It releases the antibeartrap mechanism that holds the
underlever in place. Return the underlever to its forward
position till you hear it lock in place. The gun is now
cocked. You will know the gun is cocked because the
safety (Fig. 2) will be in the forward position. Never let
go of the cocking lever during this procedure. Never al-
low the lever to pop forward. Always restrain and control
the movement of the cocking lever. If the cocking lever
ings forward uncontrolled, the gun could sustain dam-
age that would not be covered by the warranty.
4. This air rie cannot be uncocked. Once it’s cocked, it must be red. Never re the
gun without a pellet (dry-ring). This could result in permanent damage to your gun.
Evidence of dry-ring will void your warranty.
5. The safety is located in the triggerguard (Fig. 2). Pull it back to re the gun. It will au-
tomatically go on SAFE when the gun is cocked again. After taking the gun off SAFE,
you can put it back on safe without ring by returning it to the forward position. Don’t
touch the safety during the cocking cycle.
6. Be sure of your target and know what's behind or near your target. If a projectile
rebounds or ricochets, stop shooting immediately and change your backstop. Always
wear protective eyewear.
SIGHT ADJUSTMENT
If your rie has an adjustable rear sight, you may need a screwdriver to make
adjustments. Some models do not have open sights and must be scoped. Move the
rear sight in the direction you want the shot to move.
To adjust windage: Turn the adjustment screw located on the side of the sight
counterclockwise to adjust the point of impact to the left; clockwise movement
adjusts the point of impact to the right.
To adjust elevation: Turn the adjustment knob located on the top of the sight
clockwise to lower the sight; counterclockwise raises it.
