5. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Surface Preparation

Remove all surface contaminates such as oil, grease, floor

finishes, wax and dirt. Remove adhesive by scraping until all that

remains is a thin, transparent layer of adhesive residue.

sheet.

Instructions for Mixing

For best results, room and product should be kept at 50° to 70°F

(10° to 21°C) for 24 hours before, during and 48 hours after

application. Mix TEC Skill Set Self-Leveling Underlayment

Primer in the ratios listed in the coverage chart.

Application

Use a paint brush, short nap roller or a soft push broom to apply

in an even, continuous film. Do not allow product to puddle.

Dry Time

TEC Skill Set Self-Leveling Underlayment Primer typically dries

in 30 minutes to 3 hours and is transparent in color when dry.

Cure times are based on 70°F (21°C) and 50% RH. For full

strength roller applications, dry times are 30-60 minutes. Colder

temperatures and higher humidity will extend cure times. Avoid

excessive foot traffic and surface contamination.

Clean-up

Clean tools, hands and excess material immediately with water.

Material that is cured is difficult to remove.
