In full size car racing, only the best tech-
nology is used. Every aspect is specifically
developed and tested to achieve maximum
performance. With Team Orion RC racing
products, the same concept is applied,
every product is tested and fine tuned at
racing tracks all over the world. This means
that not only performance is tested, but
also reliability. Our racing products are tes-
ted in the most extreme conditions, very
high temperature or very low temperature.
Our electric R&D Manager Oscar Jansen
has been busy developing and testing pro-
ducts to ensure they can take full advan-
tage of the latest 45C LiPo technology. The
motor must be able to use this power ef-
ficiently and reliably. A lot of work has been
done to improve magnetic efficiency and
stability. This means that the new motors
are run more efficiently, keeping tempera-
tures down and performance high. The Vor-
tex Race Spec ESC is also part of the equa-
tion, it's software and hardware have also
been adapted to take full advantage of the
battery power and deliver it efficiently to
the motor. The motor and ESC are a whole,
together they are the perfect team that
can guarantee performance and reliabilty,
run after run.
