Setting the Recoding Mode
You can set the bit rate, speed and number of tracks (one or all) when
recording.

Press the CD/USB button repeatedly to select “CD”.

Hold down the RECORD button more than 3 seconds.
“REC SET: MP3 XXK” appears on the display.
< If no disc has been loaded, (“No disc” on the display), the display
will not change and you will not be able to proceed with the
next step.
Each time the RECORD button is pressed, the mode is changed as
follows:
Bit rate (64k, 96k, 128k, 192k)
Recording Speed (x1, x2)
Number of recorded songs (1song, CD ALL)
< If you need to change a setting that you have already passed,
return to the ordinary display and repeat these procedures from
step

You can set the bit rate of MP3 files for recording.

REC SET: MP3 64K
Each time the Skip/search button

changed as follows:

Recording speed
You can set the recording speed to ×1 or ×2.
