5 Operation

The Termi-Point service tool (Fig.1) consists of a basic tool (1) and a stripping insert/ Mandrel (2). There

is a service tool for Termi-Point standard with the TE P/N 655498-1 and a service tool for Termi-Point

Maxi with the TE P/N 654632-1. The tool shown in the photos is a service tool for Termi-Point standard.

Both types are identically constructed.

In order to change the Mandrel, open the metal clip Pos.1 (Fig.2). The metal clip has to be pulled

downwards. The Mandrel can now be removed or turned. When changing the mandrel make sure it is

inserted correctly and the metal clip is locked.
