LSA-PLUS® Insertion Tools
Insertion Tool with Sensor
• Used with all LSA-PLUS® modules, as well as with RJ5
jacks and HighBand® modules
• For termination of wires with conductor diameter
range 0.35 to 0.9mm; overall diameter range
0.7 to 2.6mm
• Features a sensor that detects the end of a wire
when a termination has been completed. This feature
is deactivated when a second lead is terminated in
a contact
• Scissors can be deactivated so that jumper can be
through-connected to neighboring contacts
• Service life
– 0.4mm wire: 200,000 connections
– 0.6mm wire: 100,000 connections
– 0.8mm wire: 50,000 connections
• Also features cutting inhibitor clip, extraction hook
and blade
