Remote Sense Application Circuit
The Remote Sense function, when used, regulates the voltage at the load terminals; this
compensates for any voltage drop that mayexist between the output of the converter and the load. The
voltage compensation is limited to less than 10 % of the nominal output voltage rating of the converter.
i.e.:
[Vo (+) to Vo (-)] – [Sense (+) to Sense (-)] < 10% Vo
If the Remote Sense function is not used the SENSE (+) should be connected to OUTPUT
(+) and
the SENSE (-) should be connected to OUTPUT(-) of the converter.
