After connecting the cellphone and TTY machine, it connects to a relay
service, which converts incoming speech to text for the person using the
TTY and converts outgoing text from the TTY machine to a spoken voice
for the person on the other end of the conversation.
DTMF Tones
Set the length of DTMF tones.
Noise Cancellation
Mark the checkbox to reduce the background noise.
Emergency call tone alert
Enable tone alert when dial emergency call.
11.3 Sound
Use the Sound settings to configure many aspects of call and notification
ringtones, music, and other audio settings.
•Silent mode Mark the checkbox to silence all sounds except
media & alarms.
•Vibrate Touch to access phone vibrate options.
•Volume Touch to set volume for Incoming call, Media and
Alarm.
•Phone ringtone Touch to set your default incoming call ringtone.

11.2 Call settings
Use Call settings to configure normal cellphone call settings and other
special features offered by your carrier. You can also use Call settings to
configure the cellphone so that it can place outgoing calls only to a fixed
set of cellphone numbers.

North American dialing
Mark the checkbox to replace + with International dialing code except +1.
International dialing
Set international dialing code for outgoing calls.
11.2.2 Voicemail
Voicemail service
Open a dialog where you can select your carrier’s voicemail service or
another service.
Voicemail settings
If you are using your carrier’s voicemail service, this opens a dialog where
you can enter the phone number to use for listening to and managing your
voicemail.

TTY mode
TTY mode can be used by people who are deaf, have poor hearing or
speech impairments.
