To insert your SIM card, turn off your phone by holding down the
key.
Fit the SIM card with the chip
(indicated by the gold connectors)
facing downwards. Slide the SIM card
into its compartment taking care of
the correct orientation with the
angled corner. Push the SIM card with
your finger to release it.
2.3 Inserting and removing the battery
To insert the battery, place the top of the battery in first as shown and
press down gently.To remove the battery, pull battery up from bottom
using index finger.
2.4 Power charging
If the battery is completely empty, it may probably take 20 minutes
before the charging indicator appears on the display or any calls can be
made.
If the battery temperature is beyond the range about 0-45°C, the
battery can't be charged; and if it's beyond the range about -20-60°C,
the handset will power off automatically.

Sounds......................
From the main screen, press and select one of the
following options in order to customize your telephone.
9.1 Mode
Ringtone: only the tone is played.
Vibrate: only vibrator is set (but the alarms and low battery sound
will be played anyway).
Vibrate & ring: vibrator and tone at the same time.
Vibrate then ring: vibrator then tone.
Vibrate.Beep.Ring: vibrator then warning beep, then tone.
Silence: no sound no beep (but the alarms and low battery sound will
be played anyway).
9.2 Volume
The volume can be adjusted to one of the set levels.

Display......................
10.1 Wall paper
Select the image you wish to be displayed as the idle screen.
10.2 Colors/Reverse
Choose different colors for the presentation of the screen.
10.3 Backlight
Select the display backlight duration : 7s, 15s, 20s, 30s.

Menu..............................
Select the menu of selection you would like by using the navigation
keys ( , ), then press the left softkey to confirm.
Display:
Change the main screen wallpaper, colors/reverse, power
on/off screen, screensaver and contrast.
Call services:
Access functions such as: voicemail number, call memory,
call settings, network, forward and call barring.
Games:
Play the 2 games embedded in your telephone.
Sounds:
Change the mode, volume, ringtones, alerts, power on/off
sounds and key beep.
Directory:
Access/create directory files and make calls from your
directory.
Messages:
Read, write and send SMS messages in your inbox or
outbox. Adjust the settings and activate/deactivate SMS

Set the time, date, language, security mode, answer mode,

Settings....................
11.1 Clock
Set time and date, time format, display (show or hide the clock).
11.1.1 Auto update/Nitz
Your phone will automatically adjust to the correct time zone when
you travel to different time zones. Note: This option is on by default;
you can access it and change it in "Settings/Clock/Auto update".
11.2 TTY/TTD
This handset is TTY Compatible.You only can enable TTY/TTD mode
here after plug in TTY adapter of your phone.
11.3 Languages
Select your preferred phone's language.
11.4 Dictionary
Create, modify or delete a word in your personal dictionary. When
creating an SMS, words typed are predicted from this dictionary and
are automatically predicted in predictive mode (T9).

11.7 Master reset/Master clear
All based configuration and settings will be back to their default values
and all terminal based private user data will be purged.
The default code to use master reset/clear function is 00000.This code
can be changed with user's new phone code.
If and only if a SIM/UICC is not present, when a user enters a specific
code (*#1234#) via the keypad, the Master Clear function shall be
invoked without user confirmation and without requiring the user to
enter the terminal security code.

Call services ............
12.1 Call memory
From the main screen, press and your phone display a call list. Each
call is displayed with an icon indicating the type of the call.
Select a phone number from the list and press to redial it or press
to access the following options :
Details: display the information of the call selected.
Save number: store the number in your directory.
Send message: create an SMS.
Call number: call the selected number.
Modify: modify the number, then call it or save it.
Delete: delete the number selected.
Delete all: delete the entire list.

MWI – “Message Waiting Indicator".This icon will alert you when you
have a new message in your voice mailbox. Make a long keypress on

6.1 Making a call
Dial number then press .
To hang up, press .
If you make a mistake, press . Press and hold the key to delete all
digits.
Making an emerg
ency call
Dial 911 or other local emergency number and press . Emergency
calls can be performed at anytime without your SIM card or PIN code.
Once the call has been made, the screen will display: “SOS”.
Making an international call
Hold down when “+” is displayed, enter the country and area
codes, then complete the number and send the call.

Press to access the directory.
Select the desired phone number and press .

In the inbox, read and unread messages are shown with different icons.
The outbox includes sent and unsent messages.

Directory..................
You may store up to 250 entries in the phone memory.
8.1 Directory menu
View: access your stored contact list (alphabetic order).
Create: enter number and name of a new contact.
Delete: delete the selected contact.
Copy: copy the selected contact from the SIM memory to the phone
memory and vice versa.
Caller group: group associated names by category.
Select Dir.: select the SIM directory, Phone directory or both at the
same time.
Memory status: check the numbers of contacts and the memory
space left.
My number: enter your own phone numbers for future reference.
Speed Dial: set up speed dial for each key from to .

select “create” and enter number and name of a new contact.
8.3 Viewing your saved directory contacts
Select “Dir.” then “View” to access the list of your contacts
