3a Overview Sound Bar main unit Source button: Press to switch the audio source among HDMI ARC/HDMI IN/OPT /BT/USB modes. Power button: Press to enter STANDBY mode. Volume buttons: Press to increase or decrease the volume level. Bluetooth button: Press to select the Bluetooth source. Press and hold to enter pairing mode. HELLO HELLO Screen display: Indicates the Sound Bar status. LED light: keep lighting up, which Indicates the Sound Bar is in stanby mode.

4a Place your Sound Bar TV < 9.8' The ideal place to position the Sound Bar is centered underneath your TV. 4b Wall mount your Sound Bar TV Required tools: • Place the supplied wall mount template on the wall. Make sure the wall mount template is at least 2 inches below the center of the TV. • Use a level to make sure the wall mount template is positioned accurately. • Use the tape to stick the wall mount template firmly on the wall.
4b Wall mount your Sound Bar Required tools: • Insert the wall anchors in the holes on the wall. • Insert the supplied screws with the sleeves into the hole of the wall anchors. • Fix and tighten the wall bracket screws on the wall.
4b 10 Wall mount your Sound Bar Required tools: • Unscrew the rubber cushions from the bottom of the sound bar and set them aside for potential use in the future. 10 • Attach the included wall bracket mounts to the sound bar in the same holes the rubber cushions were removed from. 11 • With the brackets now attached to the sound bar, pick up the sound bar and attach it to the wall screws, similar to how you would hang a picture. Make sure everything is tight.
5 Connect to your TV There are 2 ways to connect your sound bar to the TV (listed in order that we recommend): HDMI ARC (refer to 5a and 5b), and Optical (refer to 5c). HDMI CEC ON For USA only: If you have a Roku TVTM, simply plug in the HDMI cable to the ARC ports and follow the Roku TV ReadyTM on-screen instructions. ARC/eARC Optional 5a HDMI-ARC Connect the Sound Bar with your TV through the supplied HDMI cable. AC IN Connect the Sound Bar to the power supply with the supplied power cord.
5b HDMI-ARC Connect HDMI cable from the HDMI (ARC) interface on the sound bar to the HDMI (ARC/eARC) interface on the TV. Connect power cord. AC-IN HDMI-IN HDMI (ARC) OPTCICAL USB Connect HDMI cable from the HDMI (ARC) interface on the sound bar to the HDMI (ARC/eARC) interface on the TV. Connect power cord.
5c Optical Connect the Sound Bar with your TV through the supplied Optical cable. Connect the Sound Bar to the power supply with the supplied power cord.
6a Install or replace the remote batteries Battery type: 1.5V AAA Alkaline battery x 2 1 6b 2 3 4 8 Using the Remote Press to switch the audio source to Bluetooth mode. Press and hold to enter pairing mode. 1 Press to enter Standby mode. 3 5 6 10 4 8 Press to select the equalizer (EQ) effect when you are watching TV, movie or listening to music. 11 Press to switch the audio source to HDMI IN mode. 6 Press to switch the audio source to HDMI OUT (ARC) mode.
7 Pair with your Bluetooth device You can stream music from your mobile device via Bluetooth. 1. Press . 2. Press . 3. Press and hold on the remote control or press and hold on your sound bar. > You hear a sound signal. > The Sound Bar is ready to pair. 4. Power on your Bluetooth device and activate its Bluetooth function. 5. Select TCL 8212 Sound Bar. > You hear a sound signal. > Pairing is successful. 6. If you want to re-pair with another device, please repeat step 3.
8 HELLO Sound Bar LED Display The LED display on the Sound Bar gives you information about the status of the Sound Bar.

FAQ Does this Sound Bar work with any TV? What’s PASS THRU? Yes, the Sound Bar is compatible with any TV that has one of the ports below: 1. HDMI supporting ARC (preferred) 2. Optical audio output (TOSLink) Pass Through function equals to the extending of HDMI IN, which switches on/off singular source of sound passing through from the A / V device to the TV. When the Sound Bar and TV are both on, there is an echo effect.
