requirements and other relevant provisions of the
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Direcve 2012/19/EU (WEEE Direcve)
This symbol on this device means
that these products must be taken
to collecon points at the end of
their life:
- Municipal waste disposal centers
with specic bins for these types of
equipment.
- Collecon bins at points of sale.
They will then be recycled, so that their
components can be reused, and to prevent
substances being disposed of in the environment.
In European Union countries:
These collecon points are accessible free of
charge.
All products with this symbol must be brought to
these collecon points.
In non-European Union jurisdicons:
Items of equipment with this symbol are not to
be thrown into ordinary bins if your jurisdicon or
your region has suitable recycling and collecon
facilies; instead they are to be taken to collecon
points for recycling.
RoHs Approval
This device is in compliance with the restricon
of the use of certain hazardous substances in
electrical and electronic equipment Direcve
2011/65/EU (RoHs Direcve).
• Federal Communicaons Commission (FCC)
Declaraon of Conformity
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC
Rules. Operaon is subject to the following two
condions: (1) This device may notcause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference received, including interference that
may cause undesiredoperaon.
Changes or modicaons not expressly approved
by the party responsible for compliance could void
the user‘s authority to operate the equipment.
This device has been tested and found to comply
with the limits for a Class B digital, pursuant
to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protecon
against harmful interference in a residenal
installaon. This equipment generates, uses
and can radiated radio frequency energy and,
if not installed and used in accordance with the
instrucons, may cause harmful interference
to radio communicaons. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a
parcular installaon If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or television
recepon, which can be determined by turning
the equipment o and on, the user is encouraged
to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separaon between the equipment
and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a
circuit dierent from that to which the receiver
is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV
technician for help.
FCC Cauon:
Changes or modicaons not expressly approved
by the party responsible for compliance could void
the user‘s authority to operate the equipment.
FCC RF Exposure Informaon (SAR):
This device is designed and manufactured not
to exceed the emission limits for exposure to
radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal
Communicaons Commission of the United
States.
During SAR tesng, this is set to transmit at
its highest cered power level in all tested
frequency bands, and placed in posions that
simulate RF exposure in usage near the body
with the separaon of 9 mm. Although the SAR
is determined at the highest cered power level,
the actual SAR level of the device while operang
can be well below the maximum value. This is
because the device is designed to operate at
mulple power levels so as to use only the power
required to reach the network. In general, the
closer you are to a wireless base staon antenna,
the lower the power output.
The exposure standard for wireless is employs
a unit of measurement known as the Specic
Absorpon Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the
FCC is 1.6 W/kg.
Tests for SAR are conducted using standard
operang posions accepted by the FCC with the
device transming at its highest cered power
level in all tested frequency bands.
The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorizaon
for this model device with all reported SAR levels
evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF
exposure guidelines. SAR informaon on this
model device is on le with the FCC and can
be found under the Display Grant secon of
HYPERLINK “hp://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid”
www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid aer searching on FCC
ID: 2ACCJB115.
The highest SAR value for this model phone when
tested is 1.39 W/Kg for use close to the body.
SAR compliance for body operaon is based on a
separaon distance of 9 mm between the device
and the human body. During use, the actual SAR
values for this device are usually well below the
values stated above. This is because, for purposes
of system eciency and to minimize interference
on the network, the operang power of your
device is automacally decreased when full
power is not needed. The lower the power output
of the device, the lower its SAR value.
Body-worn SAR tesng has been carried out
at a separaon distance of 9 mm. To meet RF
exposure guidelines during body-worn operaon,
the device should be posioned at least this
distance away from the body.
If you are not using an approved accessory ensure
that whatever product is used is free of any metal
and that it posions the device the indicated
distance away from the body.
Organizaons such as the World Health
Organizaon and the US Food and Drug
Administraon have suggested that if people are
concerned and want to reduce their exposure
they could use a hands-free accessory to keep
the wireless device away from the head or body
during use, or reduce the amount of me spent
on the device.
IC Noce
This device complies with Industry Canada
license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operaon is
subject to the following two condions:
(1) this device may not cause interference, and
(2) this device must accept any interference,
including interference that may cause undesired
operaon of the device.
This Class B digital apparatus complies with
Canadian ICES-003.
IC: 9238A-0099
IC Radiaon Exposure Statement
This EUT is compliance with SAR for general
populaon/uncontrolled exposure limits in IC
RSS-102 and had been tested in accordance
with the measurement methods and procedures
specied in IEEE 1528 and IEC 62209. This
equipment should be installed and operated with
minimum distance 0.9 cm between the radiator
and your body. This device and its antenna(s) must
not be co-located or operang in conjuncon
with any other antenna or transmier.
