1. From home, tap Apps > Settings .
2. Tap More… > Default SMS app.
3. Choose a messaging app.
 The default messaging app is set.
Note: If you choose a default messaging app other than Messages (for example, Google Hangouts), you
will not be able to use the standard Messages app unless you restore it as the default messaging app.
Sound & notification Settings
The Sound settings menu lets you control your phone’s audio, from ringtones and alerts to tap tones and
notifications.

The sound settings menu allows you to configure the following options:

Sound
Set volume for ringtones, alarms, system features, etc.
Also vibrate for calls
Tap the on/off switch to enable or disable vibrate for calls.
Interruptions
Set your phone’s interruptions.
Ringtone
Set a tone for incoming calls.
Default notification ringtone
Set a tone for default phone notifications
Other sounds
Set a tone for dial pad, screen lock, etc.
Pulse notification light
Tap the on/off switch to enable or disable pulse notification light.
When device is locked
When device is locked, set to show or not show notification content.
App notifications
Tap to see all app notifications.
