Bluetooth Settings
Your tablet’s Bluetooth
®
capabilities let you use wireless headsets, send and receive pictures and files,
and more. For details on your tablet’s Bluetooth usage, see Bluetooth.
1 From Home screen, tap Apps > Settings .
2 Tap Bluetooth.
● The Bluetooth settings open.
Bluetooth Settings Operations
● Enable Bluetooth: In Bluetooth settings, tap the slider or .
■ When enabled, confirmation appears for your tablet to be discoverable by other devices.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
■ Tap
to enable and to disable.
■ Alternatively, tap Bluetooth > or .
● Enable Your Tablet to be Discoverable to Other Devices: From Bluetooth settings, tap your
tablet name.
■ Tap the tablet name to toggle discoverable/hidden setting.
■ The indication below the tablet name shows the discoverability status.
■ After the predetermined time, the tablet returns to hidden mode and is no longer
discoverable by nearby devices.
■ This setting is available when Bluetooth is enabled.
● Pairing Bluetooth Devices: Make sure the other devices are set to be discovered. From
Bluetooth settings, tap the device name in “Available devices” and follow the onscreen
instructions.
■ Depending on the device, you may be required to enter or accept a passkey.
■ If the target device does not appear, tap Scan to search again.
■ This setting is available when Bluetooth is enabled.
● Change the Name of a Paired Device: From Bluetooth settings, tap Settings next to a
paired device name, tap Name, enter a new name, and tap OK.
■ Emoji cannot be used in a device name.
■ This setting is available when Bluetooth is enabled.
● Cancelling Pairing: From Bluetooth settings, tap Settings next to a paired device name,
and then tap FORGET.
■ This setting is available when Bluetooth is enabled.
● Enable Service from Paired Device: From Bluetooth settings, tap Settings
next to a paired
device name, and then mark Internet access or Contact sharing.
● Search for Other Devices: From Bluetooth settings, tap Menu > Refresh.
■ This setting is available when Bluetooth is enabled.
● Check Files Received via Bluetooth Transfer: From Bluetooth settings, tap Menu >
Show received files, and follow the onscreen instructions.
