Introduction A tuner is a key and vital component on any serious guitar player’s pedal board. However, for a pedal that does ‘nothing’ to your sound other than keep you in tune, you may find it irritating that a tuner takes up as much space as a regular effects pedal. Well that’s now history! Though packed with features, PolyTune® Mini is ultra compact and takes up only a minimum of space on your board.

Connecting Input jack - connect your instrument here using a 1/4 inch mono jack cable. Output jack - connect to another pedal or directly into an amp or mixer. When the tuner is active the output will be muted for silent tuning. Notice that PolyTune® Mini is designed with a true bypass circuit that leaves your beloved tone unaltered when the tuner is bypassed. Power in - use a 9 VDC power supply with the following symbol: Place PolyTune® Mini before drive and distortion pedals for best tuner indication.
Tuning modes PolyTune® Mini automatically selects between Polyphonic and Chromatic tuning modes. Play one string at a time to use Chromatic mode and play all strings to use Polyphonic mode. Chromatic mode Standard chromatic tuning of one string at a time. Indication of current settings - When inserting a jack cable to the input, the pedal’s status is displayed.
Polyphonic mode Yes this is a polyphonic tuner! PolyTune® Mini allows you to get an overview of the pitch of all strings on a guitar simultaneously. Simply strum all open strings firmly and evenly and you can see exactly which strings need fine tuning. It is your choice whether you prefer to fine-tune strings in Chromatic or Poly mode.
Dropped tuning & Capo mode PolyTune® Mini easily adjusts to Dropped tunings and Capo modes. The range for Dropped mode is up to 5 semi tones and Capo mode allows you to PolyTune with a capo on frets 1 to 7. Press the TUNING button several times to switch between the modes.
Drop D Tuning mode This is the commonly used mode where you drop the low E-string to D. In this mode the strings the tune: D A D G B E. Switching between Drop D and Standard tuning mode is easy. Just press and hold the on/off switch for three seconds.
