TonePrint
What are TonePrints? TonePrint
technology gives you complete creative
control. No longer is your creativity held
back by a xed set of built-in eects!
With TonePrint, you become the eects
designer. So if you need a swirling
vintage anger for your next rock gig,
or a compressor and a chorus when you
play with your funk band, you simply just
load them into the unit.
TonePrints are signature eects
made by some of the world’s greatest
guitar and bass players. On top of that,
product specialists at TC Electronic have
also contributed TonePrints that will suit
any music genre. A TonePrint is an eect
that has been ne-tuned to give you the
perfect balance between ease of use and
an inspiring sound.
TonePrints let you design your own
custom eects to work perfectly
with your exact rig. The TonePrint
app’s editing feature, let’s you redesign
each TonePrint pedal from the ground up.
You can even assign the physical knobs
to control parameters that are usually
tucked away. Up to three parameters per
knob, actually! Check out a YouTube video
or two of artists creating their personal
TonePrints for inspiration on what you can
actually do.
From TC Electronic’s website, you can
download the TonePrint App to your
computer or smartphone and check out
all the eects from our amazing TonePrint
pedal range.
More TonePrints – created by some of
the world’s best guitar players and sound

Transferring TonePrints
to your device
There are two ways of transferring
TonePrints to your PLETHORA X5.
1. If you have a smartphone, download
the free TonePrint app from the App
Store or Google Play. Once downloaded
and installed, this app allows you to
choose from the complete TonePrint
library.
• • To transfer a TonePrint to your device,
connect your instrument to your
PLETHORA X5 using a regular USB cable
or Bluetooth, launch the app on your
smartphone, nd a TonePrint you want
to try in the product list, and follow
on-screen instructions.
2. You can also download a version of the
TonePrint App to your computer from
TC’s website.
• • Connect your computer to your
PLETHORA X5 using a USB cable.
• • To transfer a TonePrint to your
device, launch the TonePrint App,
nd PLETHORA X5 in the product list
and follow the on-screen instructions.
This way you can start auditioning
TonePrints quickly and easily. Once you
nd a TonePrint that you like, simply press
the “Store To Product” button and it will
remain in memory, even when you switch
the device o.
Bluetooth pairing with the
TonePrint app
To pair PLETHORA X5 with a
smartphone running the TonePrint app,
follow these steps:
1. Download the free TonePrint app
from App Store or Google Play.
2. On your PLETHORA X5 go to EDIT
mode and nd the settings menu at
the bottom of the eects list. Then
press the EFFECT knob to enter the
settings menu.
3. Under global settings select
“Bluetooth Pairing” to make the
PLETHORA X5 discoverable to other
Bluetooth devices.
4. A Bluetooth indicator will start ashing
when PLETHORA X5 is discoverable.
5. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on
your phone.
6. Start the TonePrint App and go to the
settings menu.
7. Select Bluetooth Midi Pairing and
choose the PLETHORA X5 in the
pop-up list.
8. The Bluetooth indicator on the
PLETHORA X5 will stop ashing.
9. Congratulations, your device and app
should now be paired!

Transferencia de TonePrints a su
dispositivo

app le permitirá elegir el modelo que

• • Para transferir un TonePrint a su

al PLETHORA X5 usando un cable
USB o Bluetooth, ejecute la app en
su smartphone, localice el TonePrint
que quiera probar en el listado de
productos y siga las instrucciones que
aparecerán en pantalla.
2. También puede descargar una versión
de la app TonePrint a su ordenador
desde la web de TC.
• • • Conecte su ordenador al PLETHORA X5
usando un cable USB.
• • Para transferir un TonePrint a su
dispositivo, ejecute la app TonePrint,
localice el PLETHORA X5 en el listado de
productos y siga las instrucciones que
aparecerán en pantalla.
De esta forma podrá empezar a probar
y escuchar los efectos de los TonePrints
de una forma rápida y sencilla. Una vez
que localice un TonePrint que le guste,
simplemente pulse en el botón “Store To
Product” y pasará a quedar en la memoria,
incluso cuando apague el dispositivo.
Emparejamiento o
sincronización Bluetooth con
la app TonePrint
Para sincronizar el PLETHORA X5 con un
smartphone en el que esté ejecutando la
app TonePrint, siga estos pasos:
1. Descargue la app gratuita TonePrint
desde el App Store o Google Play.
2. En su PLETHORA X5 vaya al modo EDIT
y localice el menú de ajustes en la parte
inferior del listado de efectos. Pulse
entonces el mando EFFECT para acceder
al menú de ajustes.
3. Dentro de los ajustes globales elija
“Bluetooth Pairing” para hacer que el
PLETHORA X5 sea visible para otros
dispositivos Bluetooth.
4. Comenzará a parpadear un indicador
Bluetooth cuando el PLETHORA X5
sea visible.
5. Asegúrese de que el Bluetooth esté
activado en su smartphone.
6. Ejecute la app TonePrint y vaya al menú
de ajustes (settings).
7. Elija “Bluetooth Midi Pairing” y
escoja el PLETHORA X5 en el listado
desplegable.
8. El indicador Bluetooth del PLETHORA
X5 dejará de parpadear.
9. Felicidades, ¡ahora su dispositivo y la
app ya deberían estar sincronizados!
