1] PLUG IT IN EASY SET UP STARTS HERE Point your tattletale at anything you want to protect or you can place in an area to intercept an intruder. Find the power cord and plug it into the back of the tattletale base unit. Plug the AC adapter into a grounded outlet. The alarm system will automatically search for the nearest cell tower. The signal strength icon will indicate the quality of your cellular connection. If you do not have a cell signal call 1.800.TELLONU or go to tattletale.com for assistance.
2] TUTORIAL FOLLOW THE ON-SCREEN Just touch the screen anywhere to begin. You will be guided through the initial set-up process. 3] ADD SENSORS INCREASE YOUR WIRELESS PROTECTION Your tattletale base unit and your key fob remote, together, are a complete alarm system. To extend your wireless protection you can add additional wireless sensors. OPTIONAL: Press the “Settings” button on the home screen. Press the “Sensors” button. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4] ARM & DISARM UNLEASH YOUR SECRET WEAPON LEAVING HOME? Press “Away” on the home screen. The tattletale will arm itself after a 60-second delay. The built-in motion detector will arm as well as any additional sensor you may have. You may also press “Away” on the key fob remote. STAYING HOME? Press “Home” on the home screen. The tattletale will arm itself instantly. Any perimeter sensors will arm. The builtin motion detector and any sensors designated interior will NOT arm.
GUIDE TO FEATURES signal strength Indicates the strength of the cell signal. RED bars indicate no cell service. message Indicates that a message has been sent (WHITE) or received (GREEN). battery charge This indicates the level of charge of the alarm system battery. RED icon indicates that the unit is unplugged from AC power. trouble This is the time of day at your location. It sets itself automatically. Indicates whether a sensor has a low battery, is lost, or has been tampered with.
fire Press for 3 seconds to signal a fire emergency to your local fire department. medical Press for 3 seconds to signal a medical emergency. police Press for 3 seconds to signal a police emergency. disarm Manually enter you four digit PIN number to disarm the alarm system. arm - away Arms the system when you are leaving home. arm - home Arms the system when you are at home. All interior sensors are disabled. quiet Turn off the touch screen keypad sound.

If the icon is AMBER that indicates that there is an open sensor. Touch to bypass the open sensor. alarm clock Press to set the alarm clock. GREEN indicates the alarm clock is set. users Manage all the users on your system. features Go to a menu of the advanced system features. back Go back to the previous screen.
KEY FOB REMOTE panic alarm anti-theft [Press both at the same time] Turn on/off the anti-theft alarm. Anyone who picks up the tattletale will trigger a siren. RED indicates the anti -theft is active. hot buttons Use this button to manage the four hot buttons on your system. RED indicates the hot button is armed. pet mode When you arm the system with pets in the home you can select this mode to disable the indoor motion detectors.
