DESCRIPTION
Tarkett QBond-One is a solvent-free acrylic latex based flooring adhesive. Maybe used for releasable applications of
Tarkett FiberFloor in residential areas only. May also be used for permanent applications of Tarkett FiberFloor, Resilient
(felt-backed) and NAFCO Luxury Flooring.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface to be covered must be dry, clean and smooth. Any materials present such as paint, wax, grease, oil, adhesive
residues, crayon, pen markings, etc. that may prevent a proper bond or migrate to the surface of the flooring causing a
stain, must be removed. Wood floors must be double construction with a 1" (2,5 cm) minimum thickness, securely
fastened and free from deflection/spring. Top layer of plywood shall be approved underlayment grade plywood. Concrete
floors shall be constructed according to the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Guide 302.1 and prepared according to
ASTM F710 (Preparation of Concrete Floors to Receive Resilient Flooring). Concrete floors must be suitably dry, free
from crazing, dusting, spalling and any curing or sealing compounds. Installation of a moisture vapor retarder is
recommended prior to pouring of a concrete slab. Relative humidity in concrete shall be tested according to ASTM F-
2170. Internal relative humidity shall not exceed 80%. Moisture vapor transmission may be tested according to ASTM F-
1869. Moisture vapor transmission shall not exceed 5 lbs./1,000 sq.ft. /24 hours. When installing over radiant heated
floors, the surface temperature of the concrete shall not exceed 85° F (29 ° C). Heating pipes must be at least 2” below
the surface of the concrete. When installing over existing floors is acceptable, the approved existing resilient floor
(residential applications only) must be a single layer, non-cushioned and fully adhered. Use a good quality, cementitious
based embossing leveler to smooth and level existing floors.
Maintain room temperature, flooring and adhesive at minimum 65° F. (18° C) for 48 hours before, during and after
installation.
Refer to Tarkett FiberFloor, Resilient and NAFCO Installation Manuals for complete and detailed instructions.

and relative humidity. Important - Roll flooring in both directions with a 75 lb. (34 kg) sectional floor roller. Use of a medium
nap paint roller when installing FiberFloor will allow for releasable applications.
