PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
INSTALLATION
Use:
Residential (for Light Commercial the product must be permanently adhered)
Installation System:
Glueless or Full Spread.
Location:
Below, on and above grade concrete, approved underlayment grade plywood and approved existing floors.
Adhesive:
Tarkett QBond-One
™
Adhesive Application:
Releasable - Apply adhesive evenly over substrate using a medium nap paint roller. Allow adhesive to dry until tacky to the
touch.
Permanent - Apply adhesive with a 1/32” deep x 1/16” wide x 1/32” apart notched trowel. Place flooring into adhesive
immediately after application. When installing over an existing floor, allow adhesive to dry until it is tacky to the touch.
Seam Method:
Glueless-Double-cut dry, use Tarkett S875 Floating Seam Tape under seams on all approved substrates & Tarkett S860
Seam Tape over concrete.
Full Spread (Releasable) - Double-cut. No tape required.
Full Spread (Permanent) - Double-cut dry. Use Tarkett S860 Seam Tape.
Seam Sealer:
Tarkett DT-65 (Low Gloss)
Maintain the work area, flooring and adhesive between 65° F and 85° F (18°C - 30°C) for 48 hours before, during and after installation. Maintain
relative humidity between 40% and 70%.
Use only cementitious based patching and leveling compounds.
Unroll flooring and allow material to relax for 10-20 minutes before fitting.
When installing using the Glueless Installation System, leave a 1/4” space between flooring and all verticals (walls, pipes, cabinets, etc.).
Installations subjected to heavy traffic, caster action or requiring net fit must be fully adhered using Tarkett QBond-One
™
.
When using the full spread application, roll flooring in both directions with a 75 lbs. (34 kg) 3-section floor roller.
Protect sealed seams from all traffic for a minimum of 3 hours.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
When fully adhering, do not replace frequently moved furniture or allow heavy traffic for at least 24 hours.
Never slide heavy furniture or appliances across the floor. Place sheets of plywood over floor when moving furniture and appliances into position.
Maintain post installation temperature between 65º F and 85º F. Maintain relative humidity between 40% and 70%.
Use non staining mats or area rugs at doorways and entranceways to collect excess water, sand, grit and debris. Clean the mats and area rugs on
a regular basis.
Use smooth, hard plastic or metal furniture rests or glides under frequently moved furniture to avoid scratches and indentations. Do not use felt
pads.
Wash floor with Tarkett SureShine
®
Floor Cleaner or equal neutral floor cleaner. Dilute floor cleaner accordingly.
