screen of the wizard.
You have now completed all the steps for initial configuration of the
Windows Media Centre. The program is now completely set up and can
be used immediately. Use the I am finished button to confirm this again
and then close the wizard with Next and Finish. You are automatically
returned to the main screen of the Media Centre.
Watching TV on your notebook
Before you can use the TV program on your notebook you must use the
Setup wizard to set up TV reception. The step-by-step instructions for
this are given at the beginning of this chapter. Alternatively, you can also
select Settings / TV from the Tasks group in the main menu of the
Media Centre Here you will find Set Up TV Signal ad TV Guide
Listings. Use these to set up the reception signal (cable TV, DVB-T,
etc.) and start the stations search. The actions are the same as with the
wizard, but only these individual steps are carried out. The Windows
Media Centre also includes a complete television receiver with which
you can receive and view the current TV guide listings. This is very easy
to use, as the Media Centre has been adapted to appear like a
conventional television. Most functions can therefore be used intuitively,
so that you will soon get the hang of using them.
