You must now enter your post code so that the Windows Media Centre
can precisely determine your TV guide listings. Enter this in the relevant
field and click the Next button to open the next dialog box. The Media
Centre will now access the internet again and update the guide listings
information. This only takes a minute and the software automatically
forwards you to the next step.
The Windows Media Centre now lists the types of reception for your
region. The selection list is entirely dependent on your location. Select
your DVB-T signal. The Media Centre now searches for further
information in the internet, the message then appears that the TV guide
listings has been completely downloaded. Click Next to move to the
next step.
One of the most important steps now follows. The Media Centre starts
automatic station search. It searches, lists and saves all the TV
channels you can receive. This may take a while, depending on the
number of receivable channels. Press the Start Search button to initiate
this process. The search can take a while. This is highly dependent on
the reception used. After all, DVB-T can transmit around a dozen
stations, a satellite more than one hundred. As soon as the Media
Centre has finished its search it lists the stations it has found. TV
