is especially suitable if you want to watch video, DVDs and audio CDs
immediately. TV and radio reception is not configured with this option.
For a complete setup, select the Option Setup option. This procedure is
described in the following. Press the OK button to open the first window.
This only contains a few items of standard information; press Next to
continue. The Media Centre then briefly displays the steps carried out
during the configuration. You can also skip this window with the Next
button.
You are now informed about the data protection guidelines (Privacy
Policy). If you wish to read these, open them by clicking the Display the
Data Protection Provisions Online button. Click Next to move to the
next step. The Media Centre would like to regularly send information to
Microsoft, so that the program can be improved in line with users'
requirements. If you consent to this anonymous report, select the Yes, I
would like to participate option. If you do not want reports to be sent to
Microsoft, select the No, I do not want to participate option. Click Next
to start the actual configuration.
The Media Centre can do more than simply play CDs and DVDs. It also
enables you to call up additional information about each album or film.
This could be, e.g. CD cover, background information to a film or the
