The Windows Media Centre - Initial Configuration
The Windows Media Centre is the central component for managing all
multimedia content on your notebook. With this media centre, fully
integrated in Windows Vistaâ„¢, you can view videos and DVDs, listen to

individual programs and unites all media under a single user interface.
The first time you open the Media Centre you must set it up, once only,
to enable you to use it to its full extents. With this, e.g. your internet
connection is checked and the available TV reception is set up. The
whole procedure takes only a few minutes and is carried out with the
help of a wizard.
General Settings
Open the Media Centre with the Windows Media Centre icon in the
Start menu. The first time you start the program the setup wizard
automatically appears. If you have already opened the Media Centre

the Media Centre, select Tasks / Settings, switch to the General group
