Operation
The housing may heat up during prolonged use. Especially with products with higher
LED power, stronger heating can occur. In this case, we recommend turning off the
torch for a short period of time (about 10 minutes) to allow it to cool down.
The product is protected against dust and splashing water according to IP44 and may be
used indoors and outdoors. Make sure the battery compartment cover is completely closed.
To turn on the torch, press the function switch (6). The torch lights up in bright mode.
Briey press the function switch to dim the lights (energy-saving mode).
Briey press the function switch again to switch to ashing light. With item no. 5004LTF, the
torch turns on the SOS signal instead of ashing light.
You can also switch the functions mentioned above by pressing the function switch twice in
succession: bright --> energy saving mode --> ashing light (SOS signal at 5004LTF).
Adjust the light beam by turning the focusing wheel (3).
Press the function switch to turn off the torch.
On the torch, there is a hand strap (7) with which the product can also be held or hung on
a hook.
With the aperture ring (1), the torch can be turned upright on a at horizontal surface. Caution!
The aperture ring has sharp edges.
Care and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
Do not emerge the product in water or any liquids.
Use a lint-free cloth to clean the product. Do not press too hard on the lens (2) or housing as
this may cause scratch marks.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household
waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is
prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our
stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus full your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
