Tangit KS Cleaner

APPLICATION FIELD

Tangit KS Cleaner for all plastic welded joints made of the materials PE, PP, PB and

PVDF.

Not suitable for use with poly-vinyl chloride (PVC-U/PVC-C) or acrylonitrile

butadiene styrene (ABS).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Pretreatment

Please refer to the technical information provided by the pipe / fitting manufacturers for

information on how to prepare the surfaces to be joined as well as for details

concerning the specific technical preparation and welding of the materials.

General specifications concerning PE welded joints can be taken from the Technical

Code DVS 2207-1.

After preparing the surfaces for welding according to the technical information, they

are thoroughly cleaned using white, non-dyed tissue paper.

Cleaner Open the bottle by pushing the safety lock while at the same time turning the cap (childresistant push-and-turn closure). The application is done with fluff-free, white, nondyed tissue paper. Tissues Before use take the bag out of the box and cut the foil on top. Pull one tissue from middle of the tissue roll and pass through the crossed slot of the top cover. Application/Cleaning Thoroughly clean the plastic parts to be welded with Tangit KS Cleaner and use a new tissue for each cleaning operation.

LIMITATIONS Storage If stored at 20°C, Tangit KS Cleaner and Tissues have a shelf life of at least 36 months in original unopened packaging from the date of filling. Solvent vapours can form explosive mixtures with air. Therefore ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
