Manual
or disengaged the grip safety. See Figure 8. If the
hammer is not cocked then use your thumb and pull
the hammer to the half-cock position so as to avoid
placing unnecessary pressure on the firing pin during
the opening procedure. See Figure 9.
W A R N I N G
You must be very careful in moving the hammer since
the safeties are disengaged. The firearm could fire if
your thumb was to slip off the hammer and there was
a live round in the chamber.
2) While maintaining a firm grip on the receiver depress
the barrel latch button with your thumb. (See Figure
10) and with your other hand, push down the front of
the barrel (Never let your finger move in front of the
barrel). The pistol will open and the ejector will function
(extracting the round).
W A R N I N G
Remember that the Thor has a powerful ejector and
that the chamber could still contain a spent or live
round. The ejection of the round could injure the
shooter and/or bystanders since it is expelled with
great force.
BARREL TAKEDOWN
Follow the procedures for opening/unloading the pistol,
before beginning the Barrel Takedown procedure.
Using a suitable tool, push out the barrel pin as shown
in Figure 11 until part of the barrel pin protrudes out
the opposite side of the pistol. See Figure 12.
NOTE:
While disassembling the barrel assembly from the
cradle and receiver, avoid fully pushing the barrel pin
from the cradle housing so as to avoid the risk of
losing the pin. The pin will remain in the cradle housing
due to an elastic ring-stop located on the end of the
pin. See Figure 13.
