Communicating with the Data Logger
There are two ways to communicate between the RTR-500DC and
the Data Logger.
Wireless Communication
Communication can occur via special short radio waves with the
Remote Units.

Note
- Wireless communication can only occur with those RTR-501/502/503 and RTR-574
logger units that have been registered as Remote Units via the accompanying
software RTR-500DC for Windows.
The following operations can be done using Wireless
communication.
- Download Recorded Data
You can download data to the RTR-500DC that has been recorded in Remote Units from a
distance, without having to col
lect the units.
- Change Recording Conditions
You can control and change Recording Start Date and Time (Programmed Start).
- Monitor Current Readings
You can monitor the current measurements of a Remote Unit at a set interval or in groups
with the measurements displayed consecutively.
