4.2. Front Panel Display Modes
The front panel displays three types of screens for different purposes: the Menus, the Dialogs and the
Messages.
4.2.1. Menus
The major contributor is the MENU. It is used to select operations to perform by enabling the operator
to navigate a menu tree using the control buttons.
Due to the size of the display, only one menu item is shown at a time. The menu display is shown in
Figure 4.4. For the complete menu tree, see Figure 4.5.

The arrows “▼“ and ”▲“ in Figure 4.4 are Soft Buttons that allows for next and previou entries
(respectively) on the current menu level.
The “Select“ button is used to descend to the submenu designated by the Menu Text, or to activate
the function selected if the Menu Entry describes a function.
The “EXIT“ button on the right is used to ascend to the menu level above.
