The Tandberg StorageLoader LTO
TM
provides a unique cartridge load design with two 4-slot
removable magazines storing a total of eight data cartridges and in a streamlined 1U form factor.
Each magazine may be ejected through the LCD user interface and there is an emergency
eject feature for the magazines in case of power failure. Convenient barcode labeling of
the eight data cartridges (or seven plus a cleaning cartridge) in two magazines provides a
controlled backup for quick and accurate off-site storage. To facilitate disaster recovery plans,
bulk loading and off-site storage are easily handled for increased security and convenience.
The convenience and reduced administrative resources of an automated solution and a mid-
range feature set at a budget-friendly cost makes the Tandberg StorageLoader LTO a “best-
in-class” choice for small to medium businesses moving to automated backup from traditional
standalone tape drives.
The Tandberg StorageLoader LTO ships with a bar code reader, rack kit, remote management and
Symantec’s Backup Exec QuickStart software and comes
with a 1 year Advanced Replacement Service
(on component level only) and a 3 year warranty.
Tandberg LTO tape automation solutions are
compatible with industry standard, multi-sourced LTO
media. To achieve optimum reliability, use of Tandberg
LTO branded and qualified data cartridges
is recommended.
