Setting the address with a programming jumper
With Motorola central units the address can be set via a programming
jumper only. When using DCC central units it is often easier to set the
address via a programming jumper than to program it via CV.
In order to set the address via a programming jumper perform the
following steps:
1. Bridge the two pins of the programming connector JP1, by
putting on the jumper included in the package. Take it away
as soon as the LED flashes.
2. Set one of the addresses from the quadruple accessory
decoder address block you want to use for switching the
connected accessories at the control unit (e.g. address "10"
from the quadruple accessory decoder address block 9 – 12).
Perform a switching command for the chosen address.
3. As soon as the LED goes out, the decoder has taken over the
new address.
