RADIO OPERATION
Press the MODE/VOL/PWR OFF button to select radio (TUNER) mode.
To select a radio band
In radio mode, press the BND/AS button repeatedly to select one of the three radio broadcasting bands: -> FM 1-> FM 2 -> FM 3.
Auto/ Manual tuning (in 50kHz increments)
- Automatic tuning:
Press and hold the I or button to launch an automatic search forwards or backwards. The radio will search up or down for a
radio station with a strong signal within the current band.
- Manual tuning:
Press the or button repeatedly to search manually up or down step by step for the desired radio station within the current
band.
To store / recall preset radio stations
You can store up to 18 radio stations in the memory (manually or automatically).
- To store a station:
- Select a band (if necessary)
- Find a station using the or buttons (refer to auto / manual tuning).
- Press the ►II/MEM button and the preset station number will flash.
- Use the
,
button to select a preset station number and then press the ►II/MEM button to confirm.
- To recall a station:
- Select a band (if necessary).
- Press the
,
button repeatedly to recall the stored station.
Auto store
Press and hold the BND/AS button to start auto store. The radio will scan from the lowest frequency, and automatically store the 6
strongest stations into the preset memories. When auto store is complete, the radio will start a preset scan of the 6 stations which it
has just stored.
FM stereo/mono
The unit will automatically pick up a stereo signal, when available in FM mode. The “ ” icon will appear in the display. When the
stereo signal reception is weak and the sound is distorted, press and hold the EQ/MON button to select mono reception.
