Tune Up Procedures
The assigned frequencies, transmitter power settings, and other configuration
parameters for the Horizontal Directional Drill Tracking System are loaded into the
microprocessor memory by the factory prior to the system integration step. There are
no factory or user adjustable components in the system, so no tuning is required. All
operation is controlled by the microprocessor firmware.
The factory will set the power so that each channel is between 18 and 20 dBm.
