Selecting a group
A group is a collection of channels that are grouped
together for either scanning or voting. In the Channels
menu, the group is shown as being a single channel
item, e.g. “Scan1”.
The sections "Using the radio in different repeater
areas" on page 71 and "Scanning a group of
channels" on page 72 explain how your radio
operates once a scan group or voting group has been
selected.
Using the Main menu
1 Press Menu and select Channels.
(Depending on how your radio is programmed, you
may be able to use a function key, the scroll keys
or left selection key to select a group.)
2 In the Channels menu, scroll through the list of
channels and groups until the group you want
appears.
3 Press Select, and the programmed group is now
shown on the display. The scanning icon
appears on the display.
