Symbol Meaning
Flashing: recharge the battery
The battery is charged
The radio is in DTMF dialling mode
Monitor or squelch override is active
Scrolling is permitted
Steady: the radio is scanning a group of channels
for activity.
Flashing: activity has been found on a channel in
the scan group.
The radio is transmitting.
Steady: low power transmit mode is active
Flashing: the radio is transmitting at low power
Steady: an auxiliary device is operating
