About your radio
2 Hold the radio so that the microphone is about 2.5
cm (1 inch) from your mouth and press the PTT key
to transmit.
Note: If the channel is busy, you will not be able to
transmit. Wait until the red status LED has stopped
flashing, and then try again.
3 Speak clearly into the microphone and release the
PTT key when you have finished talking.
