Using your Quick Access menu to make a
preset
call
1 Press the left selection key or one of the scroll keys
or to enter the Preset Calls menu.
2 Scroll through the list of names
until the you want appears.
3 Press Send.
The call details appear in the
display. While the call is being
setup, you can cancel the call by
pressing Clear.
Dialling a preset call
Note: This feature is only available for radios with
alphanumeric keys.
The preset calls programmed for your radio can be dialled if
you know the number associated with the preset call.
To dial a preset call:
1 Dial p, where p is the number of
the preset call.
If your preset call number is the
same as a call to another radio,
then you need to dial a leading
0. For example, dial 23# to call radio 23 and dial 023#
for preset call number 23.
2 Press Send or the or PTT key.
The call details appear in the
display. While the call is being
setup, you can cancel the call by
pressing Clear.
