5.4.2 Inventory with Item Search
To perform an inventory and search for specific items, the first step is to define the list of searched
items. The Inventory Demo Software uses the searchlist.txt file to define the items searched for
during the inventory. This file can be computer-generated using a file listing the searched items or
by using the Inventory Demo Software as described below.
To create the searched item list, display the database by clicking “Database” on the main screen.
The Pocket PC displays the following window.

Selected Item
Select each item to search for and click “Send Selected Item to the Search List”.
Click “OK” when all items are selected.
Click “Search List” on the main screen to verify the items listed.
