5 Operation
Stack antennas can be set-up in several different ways. The antenna configuration and the choice
of its components depend on laundry characteristics.
The Stack antenna operates best when connected to the Medio™ TR-L100 Smart Label Reader
for laundry applications. The following tables indicate the various performances using this
configuration.
Best Practices
When reading several garments in a stack, the following conditions are recommended to ensure
optimal performances.
• Well arranged garments in 1 stack (maximum stack height of 20 cm or 7,9 in.) and make
sure that garments are horizontal as shown in Garment Arrangement for Stack Antennas
• Any items with a thickness less than 5 mm or 1/4 in. should not be stacked, but spread out
over the antennas.

100% 1.0 sec.
The Success Rate is obtained through repetitive testing according to the following conditions:
• Minimum garment thickness of 10 mm.
• Maximum stack height of 150 mm.
Performance is based on parameters above and may vary from operating conditions.
