Start position: randomly beside and behind each other at the start

Number of prizes: adjustable: none few average many
Overall winner
The rider who crosses the line first at the end of the last lap wins the race. The bell rings at the start
of the final lap.
Random prize laps
At random times the bell rings when the riders cross the line. This means that prizes can be gained
in the next lap. The number of prizes depends on the number of riders:
2-3 riders = 1 prize
4-6 riders = 2 prizes
7-8 riders = 3 prizes
9-11 riders = 4 prizes
12-13 riders = 5 prizes
14-16 riders = 6 prizes
17-18 riders = 7 prizes
19-20 riders = 8 prizes
The bell doesn’t ring for riders who cannot win the premium anymore, for example because they are
far behind.
In the first X laps there are no prizes. Also not in the last Y laps. There are never 2 premium laps in a
row, there is always at least 1 normal lap between. See the diagram for determining the X and Y
values.
Diagram
The frequency of the premium laps can be adjusted by the user:
Z = total number of laps (first X laps + 3 laps of 3 laps classification + (last Y overlapping laps of 3
laps classification); rounding down.

3 laps classification
The 3 laps classification starts randomly during the criterium race. The bell announces the start of
the 3 laps classification. From the next crossing of the line on, points can be gained in 3 consecutive
sprints. There are a total of 3 sprints with each of the time points for the fastest 3 riders. The 1st
gets 3 points, the 2nd 2 points and the 3rd 1 point. The rider with the most points at the end wins the
3 laps classification. In case of an equal number of points, the number of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places is
