No connection
If there is no connection, the device is displayed with a red cross. Make
sure the USB cable is properly connected and the adaptor switch is on.
If the connection does not work, it may be that the driver is not installed
properly. Go to the Tacx website and check the Frequently Asked
Questions about problems with the USB connection and the installation
of the driver.
Linking Bushido/Vortex
When starting up the Tacx Trainer software, the software automatically
searches for the Bushido and Vortex ergotrainer, if the ANT+ stick is in
the computer. It is also possible, using the menu at the right, to
manually link the connected devices to the PC. Make sure that the
ANT+ USB stick is plugged firmly into the computer and that there are
no interfering obstacles.
Linking Genius

1. Plug the ANT+ stick into the computer.
2. Start up the software. When a pop-up appears, push the middle button of the interface
computer simultaneously (as shown).
3. A pop-up appears with the message that the new interface computer has been found.
Confirm with Connect.
4. Run the keypad calibration by pushing the upper arrow.
5. Make sure that the wheel has been placed correctly on the brake.
6. A pop-up appears with the message that the new brake has been found. Confirm with
Connect.
BlackTrack
1. It will connect automatically when the batteries have been put in the BlackTrack and by
steering to the left.
2. A pop-up appears with the message that the new BlackTrack has been found. Confirm with
Connect.
When you have used the trainer before, the software will find the trainer automatically the next time,
after you have plugged the brake into the power grid and after pressing on the interface computer.
When the BlackTrack is in sleeping mode, you have to turn the wheel to the left as far as possible. A
green light will then start to blink.
