Tacx Warranty Conditions
Thank you for buying this Tacx product. Tacx aims to provide the highest
possible quality at all times. The following warranty conditions apply
without prejudice to the stipulations in Tacx’s General Terms and
Conditions.
The warranty period for new Tacx products is 2 years, calculated from the
date of purchase, or, if the product is not delivered immediately on the date
of purchase, the date that the product is delivered. The warranty only
applies to the first owner of the product and only if the original proof of
purchase can be furnished. If you have any questions or would like to
analyze a problem, always go to support.garmin.com.
Warranty
1. Should a material and/or manufacturing defect occur within the
warranty pe riod, Tacx wi ll repair the defect and /or replace t he
defective part/product at no additional cost. Should such repair or
replacement no t be possibl e, or cannot r easonably b e expected of
Tacx, Tacx reser ves the righ t to reimburs e the market v alue of the
part or produ ct that has b een returne d.
2. If a part or product is r eplaced wi thin the war ranty per iod, the
original warranty period will still apply to that preplaced part or
product. The original warranty period is never extended or renewed
by part or product replacement.
3. When a defect arises, Tac x must be not ified in wr iting as s oon as
possible, but n o later than two month s after the d efect has been
discovered or should have been discovered.
4. This warranty is invalid and will not apply if the defect is the result of:
a) maintenance work/repair work not performed by Garmin or Tacx;
b) improper use of the part or product and/or, use of the part or
product for a p urpose othe r than the pur pose for wh ich the par t or
product is intended;
c) the use of parts tha t are not ori ginal Tacx par ts;
d) changes to the product, which have been implemented without
permission from Garmin or Tacx;
e) normal wear and tear and/or poor/improper maintenance;
f) external influences, such as moisture penetration (perspiration,
condensation or others).
5. This warranty does not apply to damage to the product which occurs
while the product is being shipped/transported.
