Quick Guide to Using Your New TECKIN Smart Plug

To use with APP.

Download the TECKIN app from your preferred app store.

Run the app and select ‘Sign Up’ at the bottom of the screen

You now need to add your TECKIN smart device.

Enter your email address and

A strong password.

Select ‘Add Device’

Quick Guide to Using Your New TECKIN Smart Plug To use with APP. Download the TECKIN app from your preferred app store. Run the app and select ‘Sign Up’ at the bottom of the screen Enter your email address and A strong password. You now need to add your TECKIN smart device.

Select the smart device you want to add. In this example, we select the Plug. Insert the smart plug into an electrical socket and switch on. Press the button on the plug and keep it pressed for 5-10 seconds until the light flashes rapidly. Continue by selecting the red ‘Light Flashing Rapidly’ button on your phone.

Select your Network, and enter the Network password. The smart plug and phone will now pair.

When the device has successfully paired, you are prompted to give it a name - eg. ‘Kettle’ Quick Guide to Using Amazon Echo To use with an Amazon Echo device, you will need: The latest Amazon Alexa app installed on your phone with an active account The latest version of TECKIN app installed with an active account An Amazon Echo device Set up Smart Device with Alexa app. Enable TECKIN skill in Alexa app; Select the 3 lines at the top left of the screen.

Select ‘Skills & Games’ Search for ‘TECKIN’ Select ‘Enable To Use’ Enter your TECKIN login details

Once the skill has been enabled, select ‘Close’ Select ‘Discover Devices’ You will now see your new Smart Device added to your device list – in this case, ‘Kettle’
