gain at minimum to 10 dB´s of signal boost at maximum.
Not only does this buer your signal to avoid treble-loss,
but it also gives you the ability to boost the overall signal
level, compensating for long cables and/or signal losses
from running a lot of pedals. You can also use it as a pick-up
booster, if you need a little more output from your instru-
ment.
Try setting the “beef” control at minimum and listen to the
sound when using either bypass conguration. Depending
on your setup, you may hear a clearer, more open sound
when using the buered bypass. Then adjust the “beef”
knob to taste.
The TUNEMASTER can be used in true bypass or in buered
bypass mode. The toggle switch between the in/out jacks
should be set to the right for true bypass and to the left for
buered bypass.
The true bypass routes the input signal directly to the output.
In essence, when you are not tuning, it is as if the TUNEMAS-
TER isn´t even there.
The buered bypass lets you use the TUNEMASTER as a line
driver with an adjustable output level, called the “beef” con-
trol. In this conguration, the “beef” control goes from unity
