Congratulations on your purchase of the TUNEMASTER, a premium guitar/ bass tuner from T-Rex Effects. Your TUNEMASTER is a true bypass chromatic tuner, which allows you to tune your instrument silently, with the option of using it as a buffer/line driver. The big note display, clear “in-tune” indication and super simple operation makes tuning your instrument a breeze. It also features specially designed circuitry that cuts tuning noise down to an absolute minimum.
Bypass mode The TUNEMASTER can be used in true bypass or in buffered bypass mode. The toggle switch between the in/out jacks should be set to the right for true bypass and to the left for buffered bypass. The true bypass routes the input signal directly to the output. In essence, when you are not tuning, it is as if the TUNEMASTER isn´t even there. The buffered bypass lets you use the TUNEMASTER as a line driver with an adjustable output level, called the “beef” control.
