When using a power adapter that has a lower wattage than the computer requires, there might be some trade-offs. The CPU
clock rate might be reduced to save power, which can cause programs to run slower, or the power adapter itself might become
warm to the touch.
2. Verify that the AC adapter is not damaged and is connected correctly to a working wall outlet. Verify AC power is connected to the system
board by examining the AC adapter, wiring, and pin connection for damage.
Damaged components, like the AC adapter or the pin in the power connector, might require an HP-certified repair.
