In Figure 71 the dictionary contains
operators that point to the dictionary name
F1Team. As defined below, the combination of the two operators enables the
recognition of expressions like “Williams GP Team” and translation by “écurie
Williams”. In this example, F1Team is the friendly name of a sub-dictionary used to
recognize and translate parts of a given expression (see Figure 72 below).

Entering Lookup Operators
To enter Lookup operators:
1. Perform one of the following steps to enable textual lookup mode:
On the View menu, click Textual lookup operators.
Click the Textual lookup operators button: .
2. Double-click a dictionary entry. The Simple Lookup Operator button (
)
and Lookup Operator button (
) become available.
