SDM Command Menus
The SDM menu bar includes six dropdown menus.
• File
• Edit
• View
• Dictionary
• Window
• Help
Many of the functions on these menus can also be run by selecting one of the SDM Toolbar
buttons.
File Menu (SDM)
Availability of SDM features depends on the SYSTRAN Desktop 7 product installed on
your PC. Features available only in SYSTRAN Business Translator and Premium
Translator are shaded in gray:
New
Create a new dictionary
Open
Open an existing dictionary
Save
Save the current dictionary
Save without
Coding
Save the current dictionary without coding
the entries
Save As
Save the current dictionary with a new
name
Save All
Save all open dictionaries
Close
Close the currently open dictionary
Print
Print the currently open dictionary
Print preview
Preview the print layout
Page setup
Set up the dictionary page layout
Import...
Import a file into the active dictionary or
create a new dictionary
Export...
Export the active dictionary
Exit
Close SDM
